Just like I love traveling internationally, I also love traveling around the US. My primary travel partner is my mom, but recently I’ve been traveling with school, work, friends, my boyfriend, or just myself.
Since starting work full time and through COVID, I really haven’t had many opportunities to travel- but I’ve tried to make the best of it. I’m so excited to start exploring again & recently did a 4 state road trip to kick things back into gear!
Throughout 2020, I had planned sooooooo many trips- both international and in the US that all ended up getting cancelled. In March, we thought we’d be okay to travel in May. Then in May, we thought it would all be over by July. As of August 30th, 2020 COVID is still going full force and traveling, especially from MA is a struggle.
My boyfriend and I originally planned to go to Tampa at the end of August, but FL proved to be the new COVID hot spot, so we switched our plans to WY. Right after we re-planned our entire trip, Charlie Baker (gov. of MA) came out with travel restrictions that basically said if you travel to any state other than a few in New England, you have to either quarantine or get tested. After that announcement- we just cancelled everything all together. However, we were able to have a 3 day vacation in the White Mountains at the end of August and it was amazing.
We stayed in North Conway, NH and did plenty of exploring and outdoor activities such as kayaking and mountain biking. Here are a few pictures!

Overall, here are my top 5 cities in the USA (Aside from Boston):
- Charleston, South Carolina
- Savannah, Georgia
- Albuquerque, New Mexico
- Anywhere in Utah
- Newport, Rhode Island
What draws me to these places?

I am someone who absolutely loves and appreciates landscapes, urban or rural. I love looking up and seeing buildings, mountains, or beaches. It doesn’t really matter to me because I find beauty in all of them.
